Installing a new Paragon SC2 Bead Kiln We have just added a Paragon SC2 Bead kiln into the shed. This should be a real help as we have been using our fusing kiln to anneal beads up to now and its in another room. We have had to insulate the beads with japanese cooling beads and batch anneal later. Not the most convenient. Now we can go straight from the flame to the kiln. The shed is wood and not huge which is why we have gone to so much trouble with the steel sheets and the insulation. The kiln has also been stood on an insulated board usually used when soldering silver. This should ensure that no heat reaches the bench. Today we are just running the kiln up to 200 c for a couple of hours before we start using it in anger tomorrow.
